In some five years ago we could hardly hear of sex education in homes, schools and work places since the topic was a sought of tabou to the local population, this actually cause a low level of the AIDS pandemic awearness to the local populations. Today, there has been a great improvement in that domain since sex education is no more a tabou amongst the local population. In my local area today we do hear of sex education in school begining from primary schools right up to secondary school. This thus proves the increase in the level of awearness of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in the community. I do believe if sex educatiuon becomes part of our home and school preriority I believe before the year 2010 we shall have a great fall in the number of HIV infected persons in the subsaharan Africa.
